Using Your Current Text: (E-Commerce Simulation, Mentoring, Tutoring, Online help)

If you prefer to use your current Introduction to Business text, you can simply adopt the E-Commerce portion of the program as an add-on. From the on-line text, assign only the appendices (appendix A-G). The topics in these appendices will integrate the decision making process of the e-commerce simulation into your course.

In order to create the time needed for simulation experiences, we recommend you either set priorities on material used from your current text or condense the presentation of the material. The active learning experiences that take place will compliment your current text and material. It will take some effort to integrate into a seamless package for your students.

The trial decision phase of the E-Commerce simulation does not have to match perfectly with the order of material presented by your textbook. To the extent that you can rearrange the order of the text material to more closely match the learning experiences taking place in the simulation, all the better.

AGV offers training sessions to new professors. These training sessions will be useful for professors wishing to integrate AGV programs into existing materials.
